Colin- I definately get a "Colin-esque feel to all of these. I think it might be the sky, which I love in all of these. There is a nice gradient of color slowing fading to white almost as you look closer to the horizon. I also notice the repetion of the buildings and industrialization, which is clearly apparent in your title of the project. I get a very nostaligic, flawless and peacefull fealing when looking at this set of work. The colors almost seem to have a brownish tint to all of them (which just may be due to the different screens etc.) but it looks almost like an enlarged polaroid to me. I also feel very tranquil when looking at these. There is no presence of human life anywhere, there is only metal and nature, which leads me to the peacefulness, as well as a sense of abandonment. Yor images seem very lonely to me, this might just be my biased opinion, but I feel as though it makes me more interested in the photos. There is also a large presence of lines in your images, which goes with the industrial feel. Overall I'm really glad your printing these bigger than usual. I think that it will add to the feeling and emotions I get out of the images, as well as create a very monumental feel. Keep moving with this idea that I see repeated in your work, I really enjoy it.
